Coach Arianne
Hi, I am Arianne, a native English speaker from Zimbabwe with a neutral accent. I am a friendly and dynamic coach. I am extremely patient and work well with learners from all sorts of backgrounds.
Ages I Teach:
7-12 years old, 13-18 years old, adults.
My Style:
My approach to learning is that it should be fun, dynamic and learner-centered. There are so many different ways to practice English – no two learners are exactly the same, and learning is best done through making connections and fun!
My Qualifications/ Education:
I have several TEFL certificates and studied for a BA in Humanities, majoring in Psychology and History and then followed that with a Post-Graduate Diploma of Education.
My Experience:
I’ve been teaching for several years. I started teaching in 2014, in the South African schooling system. It’s a multi-lingual country, so a lot of diversity. I taught high school and then moved to online teaching in 2019. I love meeting people from all over the world! I am qualified to teach learners with learning disabilities such as: ADHD, ADD, Autism and others… I am experienced in preparing learners for Baccalauréat, IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, Cambridge CPE, CAE, FCE, PET, KET, Flyers, Movers, Starters and Business English.
Languages I Speak:
English, Afrikaans, German and some Shona.
My Interests:
I love reading and music! I also love animals and being outdoors. I enjoy keeping active – hiking, running and exploring the world around me.
