Hi, I am Chen, a Mandarin speaker from China with a neutral accent. I am a dynamic and patient Chinese coach, always helping learners grow, with a positive attitude and thoughtful guidance.

Ages I Teach:
3-6 years old, 7-12 years old, 13-18 years old, adults.

My Style:
I believe that the key to learning a language is courage, interest and willpower. I like a step-by-step approach to teaching.

My Qualifications:
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature and a Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.

My Experience:
From 2007 to 2021, I taught Mandarin abroad in Nepal, Sri Lanka and in the USA. Since 2019, I have taught Mandarin online at Vivaling. I have taught learners across various age groups, and I adapt my teaching strategies to meet the needs of different age ranges. I am qualified to teach learners with learning disabilities such as: ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia and others… I am experienced in preparing learners for YCT, HSK, IGCSE/GCSE – Mandarin Chinese and BCT (Business Chinese Test).
