Hi, I am Jessica, a native English speaker from United States/Kentucky with an American accent. I am very responsible, with a serious and structured plan for learner success, but at the same time adaptable, always keeping a good sense of humor and spontaneity.

Ages I Teach:
3-6 years old, 7-12 years old, 13-18 years old, adults.

My Style:
I know language learning can be a long and frustrating process for some. I enjoy the process of adapting to my particular learners’ needs, learning styles and personalities to make their experience enjoyable, efficient and ultimately beneficial to their interests.

My Qualifications:
Years ago, I completed my BA in Spanish with a focus in Linguistics. I also completed a TESOL certificate. Vivaling prepared me for online teaching with an intensive course and the “VOLT Certificate” as well.

My Experience:
I have been teaching English since 2007 to children, teenagers and adults. I worked for about 8 years at schools in Mexico and briefly with Spanish-speakers in the United States. I have been a language coach with Vivaling since 2020. I am qualified to teach learners with learning disabilities such as Dyslexia. I am experienced in preparing learners for Baccalauréat, IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge FCE, PET, KET, Flyers, Movers and Starters.

Languages I Speak:
I speak English natively, Spanish proficiently and French at an early-intermediate level.

My Interests:
I love yoga and dance, hiking, cycling and outdoor adventures. I like cooking, gardening , traveling and reading. I am very curious…I love learning languages and new things in general.
