Coach Maria  — Cooking Up Confidence, One Lesson at a Time 🍳

If learning a language is like following a recipe, then Coach Maria is the kind of guide you want in your kitchen.

Originally from Barcelona and now based in beautiful Sardinia, Maria draws inspiration from the island’s crystal-blue waters, relaxed lifestyle, and strong sense of community. It’s a place where people are known for living long, healthy lives — something Maria embraces through her love of good food, yoga and human connection.

🍝 A Passion for Cooking and Teaching

When Maria isn’t teaching she shares her kitchen creations on her Instagram page, where recipes come to life with the same creativity she brings to her lessons.

For Maria, cooking and teaching have a lot in common. Both require patience, adaptability, and a deep understanding of your audience. Just like a great dish, a great lesson is about balance — mixing structure with spontaneity, and always adding a personal touch.

She often weaves both these passions together when teaching children and adults how to cook in Spanish. It’s not just about vocabulary — it’s about experiencing the language in a fun, hands-on way.

A Creative Spirit

Maria’s creativity doesn’t stop in the kitchen. During her university years, she was part of a small circus company, performing juggling shows in the streets of Spain with friends. That playful, expressive energy still shines through in her lessons today — especially with younger learners, who love her engaging and interactive approach.

She also enjoys crafts, drawing, and digital design, creating her own learning materials to keep lessons fresh and exciting.

A Truly Experienced Educator

With a strong academic background in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and years of experience across different countries and age groups, Maria is equipped to support learners at every stage. She has been part of the VivaLing family since 2018 — making this her 8th year with the company.

Maria embodies what it means to be a truly holistic educator — blending culture, creativity, and care into every lesson she delivers. Her ability to turn language learning into a meaningful, joyful experience is what makes her so special.
